The combined provisions of the AML Code 2019 and AML Handbook (as well as the FSA’s Rulebook for licenceholders) can be overwhelming in terms of deciding on the most appropriate format, scope, methodology and specific wording of your Business Risk Assessment.

We are here to assist you. In the first instance, we will sit down with you to compile a fact sheet. We will then present you with options on the format, content and scope of your BRA. Based on your choice, we will produce a draft for your detailed review.

The BRA is the responsibility of the Directors of the firm. In this respect, we will assist you in:

• Identifying all material AML/CFT risks (and relevant commercial risks for licenceholders) including risks associated with Technological Developments and identified by the National Risk Assessment.
• Assigning weightings to each specific risk and assessment of the probability and impact of occurrence
• Recording the risk mitigation measures which are in place and making any further recommendations
• Documenting your BRA and presenting the draft document to the Directors for further tailoring and formal approval.
